– BA in Elementary Education specializing in Early Childhood
– MA in the Teaching of Reading
– Preschool, Young 5’s, kindergarten, and 1st grade classroom teacher
– Completed thesis on using movement skills to teach early literacy
– Taught preschool gymnastics, creative movement, ballet, jazz, tap, and lyrical since 1997
– Attended dance teacher training with the Cecchetti Council of America, Dance Masters of America, and High/Scope Educational Research Foundation
