The Michigan Ballet Academy (MBA) is a not-for-profit arts organization under the artistic direction of internationally-renowned choreographer master teacher Irina Vassileni. We offer the highest quality classical ballet training using the Vaganova training method. Vaganova is acknowledged around the world as the foremost training program for classical ballet.
Introducing a recreational division in the Fall if 2021 for children, adults, and Restorative movement.
Classes are offered for children, pre-professional, professional, and adult students.
The focus of the Childrens’ division is to provide body awareness, musicality, flexibility, and coordination for children between the ages of 3 and 7.
The pre-Professional Division is designed for 9-13 year olds developing strength and musicality as they progress through three levels of training.
The Professional division provides students 14-18 with a passion for dance who are interested in a rigorous curriculum that could culminate in a professional career or scholarship opportunities.
Men’s classes specifically address the unique training requirements for men.
