Joe's Academy of Music

Joe’s Academy of Music is proud to offer award-winning guitar lessons in St Albans and dance classes in Queens and Brooklyn for all ages. With over a dozen instruments, voices, and both classical and modern dance available, we’ve been helping students find their rhythm in New York City for over two decades. At Joe’s, we believe that every student deserves access to the arts—no matter what their background or income level. We offer free or reduced-cost classes to kids who can’t afford to pay full price, and we encourage families who are looking for ways to enrich their children’s lives through music or dance lessons. We take great pride in our alumni network: with over 9,000 students graduating from Joe’s classes, it is our privilege to be able to say that we have made a difference in people’s lives! Our mission is to narrow the gap of unequal access to arts education, eliminate disparities and create a level playing field for all. Our vision is to promote diversity in music and performing art forms. We nurture and inspire music minds. We transform and empower aspiring artists.
