About Us/Studio Philosophy
Susie’s Academy of Dance is nestled in the heart of Greenwood, SC just outside of Uptown Greenwood. It’s over 6,000 sq ft facility offers 4 studios, a parent lounge and student lounge. The studio is able to accommodate several classes at once, cutting down on late classes in the evening. The studio specializes in tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, ballet, pointe, POM, hip-hop and acro-dance. Students are given the opportunity to perform in the annual Spring Production, the Christmas Parade, The Polar Express and several other venues in the community. Competitive team members compete regionally and nationally and enjoy additional performances per the community’s request.
